Welcome

Most people will experience periods of depression, anxiety, fear, or emotional distress at some point in their lives. These feelings can feel heavy and confusing, and at times difficult to manage alone. With the right support, they can also become a starting point for change and deeper self-understanding.

As qualified counsellors, we offer a safe and confidential space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. Together, we can look at what may be contributing to your current difficulties and begin to make sense of your experiences.

Counselling isn’t about being told what to do. It’s about helping you find your own way forward — whether that means making meaningful changes, building resilience, or developing healthier ways to cope.

About Me - Laura

I have significant experience as a counsellor supporting individuals and couples who find themselves lost, alone, confused, stuck, depressed or overwhelmed.

How I Can Help

I offer a confidential space where you can talk openly about whatever you are facing. It’s a safe environment to explore your thoughts and feelings with a trained professional, helping you gain a clearer understanding of yourself and the challenges in your life.

As we work together, things often begin to make more sense. You may start to recognise patterns, understand what has been holding you back, and see new ways forward. Counselling can open up possibilities for change and help you move towards a life that feels more balanced and fulfilling.

In a supportive and non-judgemental space, you can speak freely — perhaps in ways you haven’t felt able to before. You will be heard, respected, and supported as you explore what matters most to you.

About Me - Esther

Therapy can help you understand complicated emotions and patterns of behaviour. It gives you space to explore what is causing distress and to develop healthier ways of managing feelings, so they no longer feel overwhelming or in control of you.

I work with warmth, empathy, and respect, creating a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space where you can speak openly about what is troubling you. I support clients facing a wide range of difficulties, including sexual and domestic abuse, anxiety, anger, bereavement and loss, depression, relationship issues, sexuality and identity, PTSD, low self-esteem, self-harm, trauma, and stress.

Alongside my private practice, I have experience working within the NHS, sexual health, and education settings. I am BACP Accredited and fully insured, offering reassurance that you will be supported in a professional, ethical, and safe way.

How I Can Help

Working together, we can begin to understand what may be holding you back and gently explore the patterns in your thoughts and behaviour that no longer serve you. With awareness and support, change becomes possible, and you can move towards a life that feels more steady, meaningful, and fulfilling.

Some of the areas we might explore include:

  • Finding healthier ways to manage difficult emotions such as sadness, anxiety, fear, or anger.

  • Making sense of significant life changes, including relationship endings, loss, or menopause.

  • Developing a stronger understanding of who you are — your identity, your self-worth, and how you relate to others.

  • Reconnecting with what brings you purpose, balance, and joy.

Therapy is not about fixing you. It is about understanding you, and helping you feel more grounded and confident in yourself.
